MVCHP member organizations will host activities during Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, November 17–23, 2024, joining national- and state-level efforts to educate, increase awareness, and promote action to end hunger and homelessness.

MVCHP applauds our city leaders for seeking solutions to address the challenges associated with homelessness. However, regarding this ordinance, we believe more consultation and collaboration is needed to develop a service-oriented, public-health centered plan that involves city outreach beyond law enforcement.
